Why this drill works
This drill isolates the trail side to improve the weight shift initiation. The natural delay of the clubhead helps sync the lower body movement (shift) with the passive upper body and arms, improving the kinematic sequence.
How to do it
- 1
Hold the club near the bottom of the grip with your trail hand.
- 2
Focus on setting the club and feeling the natural delay of the club and arms.
- 3
Feel how easily you can start to shift your weight.
