Why this drill works

Quiets the hands and forces the torso to control the clubface rate of closure.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Take your normal grip, then slide trail hand down 3 inches.

  2. 2

    Make slow swings.

  3. 3

    Feel the body rotation square the face.

  4. 4

    The split grip prevents the hands from flipping the club over aggressively.
